For lower buildings, air intake can be a problem. With our airtubes we can design a ventilation system for different kinds of animals like cows, calves, goats etc. This air tube system brings lots of fresh outside air into the building, but without any draught.
The new ventilation system, which is made by Abbi-Aerotech, is using air tubes. It is specially designed for calves, dairy and young goat farms to avoid any cold draught as well as to realize the optimum ventilation. The tubes have special designed openings which are different for each specific farm. Air tubes are available in different diameters and lengths, depending on the dimensions and design of the barn, the type and number of cattle and their weight. Specifications: Fabric PMS- 100% Polyester, thickness 0,30mm. Fire resistance class B-s1, machine washable.
Fresh air is of vital importance to young animals, and therefore your calves as well.
Young calves are susceptible to cold air flows, they as yet have little fat and produce little heat.
When the air is not sufficiently refreshed, air quality will deteriorate. Finding an excellent ventilation system that does not cause any draught, yet sufficiently refreshes the air is not an easy task.
Perforated ventilation tubes bring fresh air into the barn with overpressure. If the outflow holes are carefully calculated and the tubes are installed properly, the calves will be supplied with a barely sensible air flow, that is not perceived as draught.
To achieve this we adopt an air speed of 0.3m/sec at a 1.10 m height. Through means of a special hole pattern, the tubes uniformly supplies fresh air throughout the entire barn.
