Also in the milking parlour, additional air movement ensures cooling on hot days. Not only the milker, but also the milking cows take advantage of the additional air movement. The cows stay calm, due to the presence of fewer flies. To enable this, Abbi-Aerotech delivers a stepless controllable fan, the Abbifan 5050 or 5060. They have an air capacity of 5200-8500 m³/h. These fans blow horizontally over the cows and are suitable for an area of ca.30-50 m. Optionally they are equipped with guards on both sides and meet CE-Standards. The support can be made with rods or chain. With a simple control, e.g. ESA 2305, you can manually choose the preferred fan speed. Also the ceiling fan has been proven in the milking parlour. Here the air is directed from top to bottom (vertically) and ensures an optimal air movement during hot and cold periods. The supportpipe can be adjusted between 48 and maximum 15 cm. The minimum height from the ground must be 2,70 m. The aerodynamic designed blades push a maximum amount of air to all corners of the parlour, without cold bridges and with a cooling effect for the milker himself. During winter the ceiling fan can back-up a heatingsystem by pushing down the rising warm air.
