The fixtures of the AL2007-Serie are especially developed to light barns up to 24 meters wide, with only one row of fixtures. The use of only one row of fixtures causes lower installation and maintenance costs compared with more traditional barn lighting. The AL2007 fixtures are applicable in different types of barns, storage houses and agricultural buildings. The AL2007 fixtures are available with High Pressure Sodium (HPS) or Metal Halide (MH) lamps in 250 and 400 Watt. High Pressure Sodium emits yellow light, has a high light output and therefore high efficiency. Metal Halide emits white light and has a lower light output than the HPS model. The brighter white of MH light means that colour recognition is better compared with the HPS lamp. Both models are also available with an integrated red control light as AGRILED® red. The 250 Watt version of the fixture is mainly used for a light lever of approx. 80 – 100 lux in the barn, or approx. 150-200 lux in lower barns. The 400 Watt version of the fixture is suitable for a light level of 150-200 lux, or even higher (this light level has impact on the production of the cows; see light advise) in the barn. Low installation and maintenance costs The fixtures are equipped with an intelligent click system for the installation brackets. This system saves time during the installation. The louvers at the back of this fixture contribute to extra air circulation around. In combination with the round top, dust will adhere less quickly on the fixture.
