The “BLITZ” disc harrower is used in both conventional soil cultivation systems and in the context of minimal soil cultivation, especially for preparing seedbeds and stubble cultivation after harvest. One feature of this implement is its suitability for use at higher speeds, which facilitates optimum stirring and grinding of residue and ideal preparation of the soil. The ideal working speed for the implement is approx. 15 kph. Faster speeds reduce fuel consumption and time expenditure. The following tasks cDSC_2747an be performed in one operation: – Shallow loosening and pulverising of the soil; – Combating weeds; – Working in harvest residue and manure, preparing the mulch seedbed; – Arranging and optimally recompressing the top layer of the field; – Preparing the seed bed.
