How the Feeding Belt Operates The NEMESIS feeding belt simplifies and optimizes the feeding process for sheep and goats using movable barriers driven by stainless steel wire rope. These barriers lift during feeding and lower to prohibit feeding for the animals. This robust solution is ideal for farmers who do not require individual stalling and releasing mechanisms. The NEMESIS Feeding Belt streamlines the feeding process into seven steps: It starts with secure access control, preventing premature animal access by lowering the barriers. Next, you load the feed manually or with a Feed Mixer Wagon. Adjust the belt speed and food quantity using the inverter, with slower speeds for precision and faster ones for larger quantities. The system ensures even feed distribution, stopping automatically. When it’s feeding time, lift the barriers for animal access, lower them to prevent overeating, and then the belt returns to its initial position for the next cycle.
