Double flat flan venturi nozzle optionally made from hard-wearing plastic POM or (semi-)ceramic
Characteristics
-Constant drift-reducing droplet size spectrum even at high pressure, extremly finer than with single flat fan nozzles
-All materials available
-Application accuracy similarly good as with single flat fan nozzles
-Size of the mouthpiece correnspondens with venturi size
-Simple design for easy cleaning
-All party connected with bayonet system
-Optimum for ear and sugar beet treatment as well as for vegetable growing
-Better penetration of vertical plant parts
-Optimal pressure: 5-8 bar
General information on drift
Drift is one of the main problems in spray technology, responsible for over 1/3 of all misplaced applications, which means that in more than 30 % of the applications farmers are wasting money.
Some basic principles can help to understand the most important factors for higher drift and its relevance for chemical applications.
The drift potential is strongly related to the droplet size of the spray. Bigger droplets can reduce the drift drastically in the same application conditions.
