The Layer Flexx™ System can be installed as a Standard/Conventional or an Enriched System, and later converted to a Multi-tier Cage Free System by removing the partitions and doors, and adding the required enrichments. Available with 2 and 3 tiers and various combinations of tiers between catwalks, depending on the needs. This system was designed with greater height for better ventilation and optimal bird behavior. As a Cage Free System it includes round perches, private cushioned nests and exit ramps for ease of movement of the birds in and out of the system. The System is fully-automatic, increasing efficiency and lowering labor costs. All power units are direct drive “coupled motors and gearboxes", without belts. This helps maintain production clean, while reducing maintenance, down time and cost. Flat Chain Feeding System -Flat Chain Feeding System is equipped with 90° gearmotors (1.5 HP), without belts, eliminating the need for maintenance. -Design exclusive to Alaso.
