The CAYMAN CA rigid cultivator is very versatile: ideal for surface tillage, but also for soil mixing in deeper operations. Available in working widths from 3 to 3,5 m in two different configurations (Top-Mecc and Top-Spring), it is ideal for tractors with 120 to 240 HP. CONFIGURATION It is possible to choose between two configurations: shank body Top-Mecc and Top-Spring, depending on the type of soil and of tilling. HIGH-TENSILE STEEL MAIN FRAME Made of high-resistance steel, it yields the best compromise between sturdiness and lightweight. RETRACTION OF THE ROLLER Thanks to the retraction of the “Compact” rear roller, the centre of gravity of the machine is moved forward and both the length and the transport load are decreased CONVEYING DISCS After the passage of the shanks, the discs flatten the soil, bury the crop residues and fill in possible remaining furrows. Their adjustment occurs through a central crank, which determines their degree of penetration into the soil.
