The precision engineered backward curved centrifugal impellors, extremely smooth bell mouthed inlet cones and direct motor drive ensure optimal efficiency, low noise and zero maintenance. Direct drive offers optimal efficiency (no losses from belt transmission). Zero maintenance and reduced cost, but it means that on some models larger diameter fans have to be run at 960rpm in order to achieve the full range of airflows e.g. FR902/11 Diffuser vanes are fitted in inlet cone of certain models as indicated, reducing power absorption to match smaller motor e.g. Models such as FR711/15 with 15kW motor can be driven when diffusers are fitted - becoming FR712/11. Noise levels read at a distance of 1.5m Fans are offered right or left handed with choice of 8 discharge orientations in each case.
