The Pegasus drafting system automatically sorts and segregates cows using either the Micro M3S, Micro M5, Cowculator PC software or both, automatically. Cows can be selected for segregation immediately or in advance.
System Features
The system uses ‘battery-free’ HDX electronic identification ear tags. 2-way and 3-way versions are available as standard, allowing cows to be sorted in two or three directions. More than one drafting gate can be included in the system, allowing cows to be sorted in more than three directions.
The system is completely free-flowing, due to the antenna being able to rapidly and accurately capture tag reads, and therefore less stressful for cows.
Stress free sorting. No stopping / interrupting cow flow exiting the parlour
Uses low cost HDX ear tags
