For the modern farmers and contractors, the power and the effectiveness are the most important criteria at the moment of the choice of their system of preparation or equipment for “fast” seed bed preparation. The AVR MULTIVATOR is a machine that certainly meets this criterion.
At the time of the design of the Multivator, 3 principal criteria were to constitute the base of its success:
A better crumbling: via a more homogeneous refining
- A higher capacity (higher working speed)
- A more important working depth
- Non-driven seedbed
The Multivator was designed in the first place to take over the role of the rotary harrow in the frontal assembly at the time of the soil preparation. The principal disadvantage of the rotary harrow is that a large volume of clods remains in the ridges realized at the time of the plantation. Thanks to the Multivator, the ground is initially cultivated and is then directly concentrated in ridges. Then, with the planting machine behind the tractor, the seed-potatoes are deposited in these ridges. The planting bed is not crushed anymore.
