Compact cultivator for planting combination
Planting bed preparation, planting and ridging in one working passage? It is possible! These processes can easily be accomplished using AVR’s rear-mounted Compact III cultivator, allowing for the use of wide tires on the tractor. The Compact III cultivator’s compact frame makes it possible for the machine to be used in combination with the AVR Ceres planter.
Compact machine, lower fuel consumption
By mounting the hydraulic tines in the frame (instead of in front of it) and the soil openers on the cultivator (instead of on the planter), we were able to significantly restrict the machine’s length. The hydraulically depth-adjustable cultivating tines (optional) break up the tractor’s tracks. By cultivating in cracked soil, less fuel is consumed.
Preventive harvest protection
Avoid green potatoes, diseases and pests by forming proper, full ridges. Start at the base by loosening up enough soil during planting. The Compact cultivator will help you achieve this goal. As the planting bed preparation, planting and ridging are executed consecutively without large intervals, the seed potato will always be positioned perfectly in the middle of the ridge, even on sloping terrains.
KEEN&GREEN: the tines are welded in a helix shape to assure the cultivator runs in a straight line.
