The ideal start The AVR GE Force is the ideal machine for soil treatment, before or after planting the potatoes. The machine can work full-field, to prepare the soil for planting, or afterwards to only treat the rows between the ridges, in order to obtain a neat, straight ridge without clods. The tines considerably crumble the soil and prevent the formation of clods that could go into the harvested product. The GE Force has a few specific features. The side drive does not work with a chain anymore, but with three fixed sprockets that are mounted in a loose cast iron box. This results in the final delay taking place at the last moment. The speed frequencies of countershafts can be higher, which results in less wear. The side gearbox can easily handle over 250 HP. More power, less maintenance !
