Following the recent trends in the potato industry AVR is proud to announce the launch of the Apache harvester. This machine is available as 3 row harvester for 36” (90 cm) planting distance or as a 4 row machine for 75 cm planting distance.
Farmers are looking to increase capacity with their existing system, so harvesting one row extra each pass creates a potential capacity increase of 50%!
The AVR Apache is build on a special chassis designed to provide a clear visibility to the driver. From the cab the driver has a full view on the entire harvester. The driver is assisted by a comfortably joystick and a user-friendly driver CAN-Bus interface.
The digger unit is equipped with 3 or 4 trailed plastic diabolos on an electro-hydraulic pressure release system, followed by a 2.55m wide short diggerweb (3x90 cm) or 2 x 1.45m wide short diggerwebs (4x75 cm). The first sievingweb in the harvester is 2.65m wide.
AVR introduces new techniques on the Apache: the Flexi-web in combination with hydraulic driven webs allow the operator to adapt the harvester to all conditions in the field. The Flexiweb gives the operator the flexibility to set the drop height from the diggerweb onto the first sievingweb independly on the go from the Control box in the cab.
