The poly tanker has a filling volume of 16,000 litres and it is handmade in-house at ECKART Maschinenbau GmbH. Thanks to many years of experience in the field of FRP, it is possible to rely on highest quality. Furthermore, we have equipped the tanker with H‑shaped anti-surge baffles to achieve stable driving behaviour on headlands or slopes. As standard, the Xerion is equipped with a 9,000 l rotary piston pump from Vogelsang. However, many customers want a 12,000 l pump which can be fitted easily. With the newly developed shape, it is possible to unfold up to 21 m of trailing shoe applicator booms. Thanks to optimum matching of the CLAAS XERION and BAUER slurry technology, a filling time of less than 90 seconds can be achieved. This short filling time is only possible thanks to our flow-optimised front unit with 10″ piping and a company-developed accelerator that pushes the slurry masses to the Vogelsang pump. The accelerator is operated at 160 bar due to the optimal coordination of the oil quantities. This reduces wear on the rotary piston pump, as it does not run in cavitation.
To improve stability and weight distribution, transverse and longitudinal anti-surge baffles have been installed. By mounting the tanker on the trac, high traction as well as a better hp/kg ratio can be ensured. The front unit is equipped with a 10″ suction arm and can be swivelled by 160 degrees.
