Water is becoming ever scarcer as a resource. For this reason, recycled substances and wastewater are increasingly being used for irrigation. Water from rivers, sewage treatment plants, slaughterhouses, the food industry and the paper and sugar industry can be taken for irrigation by employing the right machines and materials. Aggressive water would shorten the service life of normal irrigation machines considerably.
The POLYSTAR system from BAUER is available for pivot and linear systems as well as for CENTERLINER and offers comprehensive corrosion protection for elements which transport water. This means that there are no technical limits to the use of wastewater, separated liquid manure and aggressive water.
Why POLYSTAR?
■High protection against corrosion when irrigating wastewater or other aggressive liquids
■No damages from abrasion caused by sand or sediment in the irrigation water
■High resistance to sunlight and external humidity
■Significant increase in the service life of the system
■Greater economy
■Improved flow properties of the medium compared to galvanized steel
Extremely long service life
For the POLYSTAR version, the span pipes of the BAUER pivot and linear systems in sizes 168 and 203mm are fitted with HD-PE 4.0 or 4.9mm on the inside. Sealing surfaces are produced using precision tools to guarantee a completely tight seal and time-saving assembly.
This increases the already long service life of BAUER systems even further. The water-carrying pipes are protected all around against corrosive components in the liquid. Sand or sediment cannot cause any abrasion damage.
