CUTTING CROP RESIDUE AND DEEP LOOSENING IN ONE PASS The ACTROS RO combined cultivator provides two operations in one pass. The two front rows of discs with a large diameter of 690 × 6 mm provide excellent cutting and shallow mixing of crop residue with soil, and the two rows of tines ensure intense loosening up to a depth of 35 centimetres. The whole process is completed with the final levelling and surface consolidation using a packer. A great advantage of the ACTROS RO combined cultivator is the possibility to work without rear packers. This solution makes it possible to use the deep cultivator also under less favourable conditions, namely when it is wet.
