TFP drum mowers fit tractors from 18 to 45 Hp (14 to 33 kW) with PTO speed 540 rpm. They are extremely light and easy to be mounted in the rear of tractors. The compact design reduces possible bumps. The high drums make a perfect cutting of the fodder feasible, creating regular central windrows, combined with a high working speed even in the most difficult conditions. These models are provided with double drums equipped with 8 swivel knives that retract when an obstacle is met. The lower free disc allows the cutting disc to follow the contour of the ground, independent of the tractor axle. Maintenance consists in a simple periodic check of the oil level and knives wear.
