Our V-LOAD Cutter Megastar HD combines the solid, reinforced frame of the Master block cutter type with the compact cutting size of the Megastar block cutter type. This combination makes the machine particularly suitable for front attachment and use at great heights (especially when attached to a telehandler). The V-LOAD Cutter Megastar HD silo block cutter is also equipped with the patented double knife cutting system with a split front cutting edge. It is a compact and very robust type of silo block cutter. AT A GLANCE .FRONT AND REAR INSTALLATION .PRESERVATION OF STORAGE DENSITY AND FEED QUALITY .AVOIDANCE OF REHEATING .COMPACT SILAGE BLOCKS Six knives in active use - proven and fast BVL DOUBLE-BLADE CUTTING SYSTEM (TYPE TOPSTAR) The Topstar operates with a drive cylinder that powers six active knives. Each cutting blade is in active use, providing for an incomparably clean cut on the silage. The particularly narrow cutting bar cuts through the feed with perfect ease, conserving energy. Patented double-blade cutting system with a split transversal blade BVL DOUBLE-BLADE CUTTING SYSTEM (TYPE MEGASTAR/MASTER/MEGASTAR HD) The V-LOAD Cutter Megastar, Megastar HD and the V-LOAD Cutter Master use a split transversal blade for cutting. Each of the front knives runs towards its counterpart - eliminating shear forces. This movement allows the cutting bar to work its way through the silage smoothly and effortlessly. The knives as well as the entire cutting bar are made of highly wear-resistant steel (HB400), providing for a long service life.
