The mobile, cordless scales for the precise and simple weight monitoring of broilers EasyCheck, from Big Dutchman, is an innovative system that helps you record bird weights in a simple but very precise manner. The scales are designed to be set up on the floor so the birds can step on them without effort or stress. This significantly facilitates daily weighing and increases the birds’ acceptance of the scales for the entire batch. The weighing accuracy is more than 99 per cent, due to an algorithm that factors in breedspecific information and thus prevents measuring anomalies. The scales send the measured data to the OrbitX IoT gateway via a LoRa (long range) antenna. From here, the data are transferred to the cloud-based management system BFN Fusion. You can then view them on your smartphone, tablet or PC. LoRa is a new information and data transfer technology that was developed for communication in the Internet of Things (IoT).
