Description

Ingenious manure removal with belts below the plastic slat level in broiler breeder houses SIMBA, a new system for manure removal via belts offered by Big Dutchman, removes manure that is usually stored in the manure pit from the house at regular intervals. This ignificantly reduces ammonia emissions and thus improves the climate situation in the barn. SIMBA is mainly used in broiler breeder houses, where manure was stored in manure pits for the entire batch in the past. Main advantages -much improved climate in the barn; -low jump height of only 20 cm makes reaching the nest easy for the hens and increases nest acceptance; -animal-friendly system that is good for the environment; -very reliable system with safety switches; -regular manure removal over the entire batch reduces ammonia emissions; lower risk of flies in the house; -low maintenance requirements; -corrosion-resistant substructure made of stainless steel; -floor underneath the slat level is easy to clean after the batch while the manure belt is wound around the drum; -hinged-type front made of plastic is also easy to clean; -easy to install.
