Amblyseius californicus
The predatory mite Amblyseius (= Neoseiulus) californicus feeds on all stages of the two-spotted spider mite. It also attacks the broad mite and the cyclamen mite. It is able to consume about 5 prey items per day and can survive on pollen even in absence of prey.
This predatory mite is active in a large temperature range and tolerates lower humidity.
Amblyseius californicus is widely used for pest mite control in several vegetables, berries, fruits and ornamental crops.
