Description

The most effective approach in mitigating the negative effects of mycotoxins in animal nutrition is the use of anti-mycotoxin or detoxifying products. An effective, safe and profitable mycotoxins binder with the appropriate dose according to the level of contamination and the target species is the most reliable response to the challenge of mitigating the risks associated with mycotoxins in animal production. The main characteristics of BIŌNTE QUIMITŌX® are: -Bioprotection of target organs. -High levels of adsorption of mycotoxins. -Low inclusion.. -Adsorption stability at different pH's. -Fast adsorption capacity. -Selectivity: Does not trap nutrients (minerals and vitamins). -Strict quality control. -Free of contaminants – dioxins/heavy metals. MYCOTOXIN BINDERS Mycotoxins in animal nutrition and health produce mycotoxicosis, which leads to many serious health problems such as immunosuppression, carcinogenic effects, target organ damage, intestinal and reproductive health problems, etc. Its effects can be acute or severe due to short exposure to high doses, or chronic when the living being is exposed to the toxin in small amounts for a long period of time. A mycotoxin binder is a substance that is added to animal feed in very small quantities with the aim of neutralizing or immobilizing mycotoxins in animal feed, harmful to the animal gastrointestinal system. Thus, and as its name suggests, mycotoxin binders “bind contaminants” managing to trap them in a clay or other porous material; a process scientifically known as adsorption.
