Compact disc harrow of a large width is a universal machine, well suited on ploughed or unploughed ground, on heavy soils, witch stones or mulch- covered. Equipped with discs of 560 mm diameter and large distance between the front and rear disc section allows to use of machine on fields with plenty of vegetable matter e.g. post-harvest maize seeds. Harrow discs are individually protected against overload by springs. Series of types consists of mounted harrows with working widths 2,5 m, 3,0 m, 3,5 m, 4,0 m and is designed for tractors from 90 hp to 140 hp. Disc harrow is composed of the following basic units: support frame, disc sections and packer rollers. Furthermore, disc harrow is equipped with side screens, that reduces rejection of soil by side discs of front end rear sections. Harrow can be equipped with various packer rollers eg. ring-string roller, cage roller or packer roller. Technical parameters of machine are compatible with European standards for ergonomy and safety of maintenance. High efficiency was obtained using modern computer-aided design method. Optimal lifetime and strength has been reached thanks to a design parametric modeling with 3D system and versatile design analysis MES systems. Width of mounted (non-folded) harrow is greater than 3 meters and therefore this machine is not suitable for transport on public road.
