Premise: SIRIO, the only one of its kind of which PATENTED, works to maintain a humidity rate previously set inside the incubator, exploiting the benefit of natural evaporation, as occurs in industrial incubators, therefore nothing to do with obsolete ultrasonic humidifiers now banned from industrial incubators: the embryo during its incubation needs sterile natural water vapor and not ultrasonic nebulizations! Notion induced by all the genetic laboratories of the world.
The stability of relative humidity during the incubation process is one of the fundamental elements to ensure a good percentage of hatching and the birth of healthy and viable chicks. With this goal, the SIRIO automatic humidifier was designed and built, a device that allows, without any operator intervention, to introduce water into the incubator in a totally automatic way.
Thanks to SIRIO, the desired humidity percentage can be set using the keys located on an intuitive LCD display, once this operation has been performed, SIRIO will pump water into the incubator (taking it from a bottle that the user will have previously prepared) in order to reach it and stabilize it regardless of the variations in ambient humidity, optimizing the percentage of hatching of the incubated eggs.
SIRIO consists of a double duct peristaltic pump controlled by a computerized hygrostat which, thanks to a modified PID algorithm, receives the information detected by a connected latest generation humidity sensor (Sensirion of Swiss technology) with an accuracy of +/- 1% ( the most accurate in its class), which measures the humidity inside the incubator with extreme precision during the entire incubation cycle.
