Mid tilt steering column with sturdy welded tube and flange design and telescopic length. 5 Position mechanical tilt frame releases with the push of a bracket, counterbalanced by springs and protected by rubber boot. Above and below tilt length can be configured per customer specifications. •2.25" extension range by rotating locking collet handle. •Hand operated tilt with 40 degree range of pivot •Locking mechanical latch accommodates 5 positions 0°, +/-10°, +/-20° •Rubber boot to protect tilt brackets and locking mechanisms •Outer tube and brackets have flat black powder coat finish •Shafts are phosphate coated and oil dipped for corrosion protection •Fully machined 4140 Steel U-joint
