MP 548 is an engine-driven compressor which can be connected to the hydraulic lift of the tractor or to the trailer, to supply compressed air to the shears and harvesters of the pneumatic range by Campagnola. It has been designed for the operators who carry out intensive professional interventions and need a highly efficient engine-driven compressor. DESCRIPTION The new MP 548 engine-driven compressor has a flow rate of 554 l/min and can simultaneously power up to 3 pneumatic shears or 2 / 3 pneumatic harvesters of the PROFESSIONAL Line. Equipped with a special steel frame, it can be fixed directly to the tractor hydraulic lift or to the trailer, to have an independent unit which can work even when the tractor is off. It is equipped with a 7 HP EHR210 Campagnola petrol engine and two 9-liter air tanks. The maximum operating pressure that can be reached is 9 / 11 bar and the total weight of MP 548 is only 118 kg. All Campagnola engine-driven compressors are equipped with a pneumatic self-regulating device which accelerates the engine only when the tank is refilled, until the maximum pressure is reached. This system allows to save fuel, to reduce the emission of exhaust gases and to limit the wear-and-tear of the mechanical parts.
