The 500 and 700 Series are the top models in Caron’s single-seat transporter range. Type-approved as agricultural tractors, they are extremely sturdy professional vehicles designed for reliable top efficiency operation under maximum safety. The new-generation FCA VM 3-cylinder 2.2 L Turbo Intercooler engine delivers 68 hp and is approved according to the latest Stage 5 pollutant emission regulations. The approved total weight is 5,000 kg (3,500 kg for the 500 series), enabling payloads of up to 3,100 kg. The 500 / 700 Series can be ordered in articulated or steering wheels versions, and with various options: with roll protection, heated, air-conditioned, or category 4 cab. The AR (articulated) version features hydraulic steering on the central articulation. Compared to the steering wheels version, it provides a reduced turning radius with the rear wheels following the tracks of the front wheels. AR tractors are highly manoeuvrable and ideal for working in limited spaces and narrow passages. Available in different widths and wheel bases. In the AR version, the 500 series is also available in a narrow version down to 124 cm. The ST (steering wheels) version is equipped with hydraulic steering on the front wheels. The AR / ST series tractors are characterised by a low centre of gravity and in the ST with steering wheels version they provide maximum stability for working in extreme conditions and on steep slopes.
