Caron specially designed the CTK Palm Oil model transporter with equipment options for use in particular crop plantations, like harvesting of palm oil fruit. The vehicle can transport up to 5,000 kg of palm oil fruit each journey and unload it into containers. It can be fitted with a wide variety of equipment to meet specific work requirements: fluid transport tank, granular fertiliser spreader, organic fertiliser spreader, personnel carrier, crane, aerial platform, sprayer, and other devices as specifically requested by customers. The particularly tough construction of Caron vehicles, combined with permanent four-wheel drive, central articulation, and the use of wide-section low-pressure tyres, allows loads to be carried rather than towed, avoiding sinking in muddy soils, and enabling work even during periods of heavy rain without interrupting harvesting cycles.
