Caron specially designed the CTK Palm Oil model transporter with equipment options for use in particular crop plantations, like harvesting of palm oil fruit. The vehicle can transport up to 5,000 kg of palm oil fruit each journey and unload it into containers. It can be fitted with a wide variety of equipment to meet specific work requirements: fluid transport tank, granular fertiliser spreader, organic fertiliser spreader, personnel carrier, crane, aerial platform, sprayer, and other devices as specifically requested by customers. The particularly tough construction of Caron vehicles, combined with permanent four-wheel drive, central articulation, and the use of wide-section low-pressure tyres, allows loads to be carried rather than towed, avoiding sinking in muddy soils, and enabling work even during periods of heavy rain without interrupting harvesting cycles. Cab The Palm Oil model has an open cab with protective roof for operators. A comfortable seat and easy control handling ensure practicality and safety during loading and transport. DRIVING SEAT Mechanically sprung adjustable seats with seat belts. A third seat is available. PLATFORM SUSPENSION SYSTEM The cab is equipped with shock absorbers and silent-block system that ensure driving comfort. LIGHTS Halogen headlights and rear work lights. Mechanical structure Caron vehicles carry loads directly on-board rather than towing them. Tough design, 4×4 drive, and built-in central articulation enable operators to work even under heavy rain without sinking into muddy ground, and so without interrupting harvest cycles.
