TELESCOPIC CANNON FOR THE TREATMENT OF BANANE PLANTATIONS Banart has a compact chassis 1 m wide, 1.5 m long, with 330 or 440 l tank, and it is specialized for bananas up to 5.5 m high. It has a 2.2 m high telescopic gun, extendable up to 5.5 m high and it is equipped with a triple forklift truck and a 300 mm extendable tube. The cannons guarantee a range of 12 m per side, therefore it will be possible to have a passage every 24 m in the banana plantation. These performances guarantee the effectiveness of the treatment since the mixture is sprayed from above on the upper side of the leaf where the diseases lurk, and also reducing the work time, when compared to any other method with traditional sprayers. To consider that the effectiveness of traditional sprayers is lower than the BANART because they spray from below, without going beyond the upper vegetation of the plant where the BANART arrives in a homogeneous and capillary way.
