SLZ consists of: Construction features:: The cylinder is composed of corrugated metal sheet and calendered panels of structural steel with high finish of zincoche it guarantees a long resistance to atmospheric agents. The structure is reinforced externally by sheet steel uprights strutturalepressopiegata of variable thickness and sections. The assembly of the plates and the uprights is done with special high-strength bolts treated with proceedings against corrosion. The infiltration of water into the joints of the metal sheets is avoided thanks to the interposition of seals which maintain their characteristics over time. The sloping roof is composed of trapezoidal panels aluzinc bolted between them with the drip edge. The aluzinc is a cold-rolled steel with a metallic coating mainly composed of an alloy of aluminum (55%), Zinc (43.4%) and silicon that provides excellent corrosion resistance; Zinc also ensures cathodic protection on cut edges or surface scratches. The aluzinc has demonstrated corrosion rates 2 times lower in the marine environment, 4 times lower than in the saline environment strongly and 6 times lower than in the industrial environment. Also maintains its surface appearance unchanged over time and does not present the typical blackening phenomena of galvanized sheet metal.
