“AIRMV” is the series of quick couplings with male connector featuring a mushroom sealing system; they are interchangeable with the “AIRMS” ball series, and are made of carbon steel with superficial galvanisation treatment. The mushroom sealing valve – with respect to the ball – ensures better sealing. Therefore, the “AIRMV” coupling is more suitable for applications in which it is important not to lose fluid when the couplings are uncoupled. Size 1/2 is part of the BIR series and is interchangeable in accordance with international standard ISO 7241-1 series “A”.
