Cosmeco rotary single-double-wheel ditchers have been designed and developed for many different water management purposes, such as excavation, maintenance or cleaning of collector ditches and furrows. Thanks to their rotors equipped with knives and plates, the soil is crumbled up and then removed. The earth can be thrown several meters away, or be positioned beside the ditch edge by account of the special adjustable hoods available on demand. The newly created ditch proves to be defined and chiselled, and makes the water flow away from unwanted areas or distribute itself along irrigation networks. Our single-double-wheel ditchers are essential when there are particular digging conditions, such as maintenance and/or ex-novo creation of ditches placed near borders, roads or private access ways, common lands, or where there are crops to protect, basically all those circumstances that may require a unique direction for the removed soil to respect the contiguous areas. These ditchers come with a milling rotor on one side and a smaller shaping wheel on the other side, both wheels are able to excavate and smooth each side of the ditch in a thoroughly uniform way. What is removed is discharged only on the right side of the tractor (considering the driving sense) the earth can be spread in open field or placed on the ditch edges in a localized and even way.
