Pushing barrier
For stress-free management of your cow herds
PUSHING BARRIER: HERD MANAGEMENT
Equipping the waiting area with a BP2 pushing barrier is essential for fast milking.
It allows a large number of animals to be taken to the milking parlor. They are calmly directed from the waiting area to the docks, without stress.
The waiting area must be sized for the entire batch of cows to be milked (1.2m² / LV).
The floor of the holding area must be non-slippery, easily cleanable and allow effluent to flow (slope of 3 to 5%).
The barrier, attached to a metal joist, is secured by two side rails and runs through the entire waiting area.
Moving slowly, it gives the cows time to move forward, safely.
THE ADVANTAGES OF THE PUSHING BARRIER FOR YOUR HERDS OF COWS:
• System to better manage the duration of milking
• Easy installation and low maintenance
• Adapts to a sloping waiting area
• Width up to 14m, length up to 100m
• Safety by release
