The Cross Rhino Beet Washer was first designed for the European Bio Gas market. It uses a combination of patented cleaning and chopping elements to ensure that you can deliver a quality clean sample of beet for any application. The Rhino can be used for the dirtiest of beet crops to ensure clean and safe cattle feed and also clean samples for anaerobic digestion. This Washer also has a pre-cleaning feature which helps the water last longer per cycle. The Rhino has the ability to remove 100% of the stones in the beet crop. The water in the rhino can last a lot longer due to the water cleaning system as the machine works. Pre-Clean The precleaning hopper is used to fill the beet washer as well as shake the loose dirt off the Beet. This saves the water from early contamination De-Stone The de-stoning section of the beet washer uses a patented cyclone system to seperate the stones from any root crop. All the stones that get sucked down through the bottom of the cyclone are deposited out of the machine seperate to the beet Wash The wash cylinder tumble cleans the beet while semi-submerged in water. The clay and soil washed off the beet falls through the tumbler and is dropped onto the waste elevator to be deposited along with the stones. Chop Every Beet Washer in the CROSS range can be fitted with a chopper. While chopping the chop size can be varied hydraulically. This chopper can be lifted out of the way when not needed in order to wash whole beet.
