The Dorado MT combined cultivator is the result of the combination between a light cultivator and an independent disc harrow, useful for working the soil from a conservative perspective and guaranteeing the crop a layer of soil suitable for its growth.
The type of tools, their arrangement and the wide adjustment ranges allow you to use this cultivator for superficial processing of the stubble after harvesting and for medium-deep decompaction (max 30 cm) in the presence of ruts.
Thanks to the ability to optimally work in presence of crop residues, this combined cultivator is used to devitalize cover crops, directly preparing the seedbed for the main crop.
Dorado MT combined cultivators: the characteristics
-Two rows of opposing discs (Ø 510 mm x 5) mounted on independent supports with hydraulic depth adjustment. Each disc is dampened on a special silent block system with 4 highly resilient rubber cylinders.
The role of the disc is to cut the residues, devitalize the covers and mix the first centimeters, promoting decomposition and transforming the organic substance into natural fertilizer, thus increasing the fertility of the soil.
-Three rows of non-stop anchors complete with lateral wings and trashboard, equipped with a non-stop mechanical device with a preload of 900 kg. Their distribution, together with the position after the discs, produces a minor alteration of the soil profile by not leaving large clods on the surface. The maximum operating depth is 30 cm.
-At the rear, the row of discs with opposite concavity and the knife paker roller finish the process, ensuring a smooth surface.
