The KE compact filtration systems are mainly used for the removal of large amounts of inorganic particles. They successfully combine the filtration benefits of a sand separator pre-filtration system together with the performance of a fine screen or disk filter. They are usually installed for filtering water from drillings and wells.
Operation: When the unclean water enters the hydrocyclone, the centrifugal force causes the particles to spin at high speed onto the filter’s walls in a tangential direction and then gather in the collection chamber at the bottom of the filter from where they are flushed out through the drain valve or via an automatic flushing kit. Water, cleaned from the heavier particles, moves out from the hydrocyclone from the outlet on the top is forced to a second stage filtration of finer and lighter particles through the screen or disk filter.
Advantages: Complete – ready to use – filtration system. Easily combined with a fertilizer device (fertilizer tank, venturi injector or dosing pump) to be used for fertigation.
