Dutchman Curved-Blade Tree Spades are available in sizes from 66" up to 100" and Dutchman Straight-Blade Tree Spades from 65" to 80", for large wheel loaders.
Dutchman Industries' curved-blade spades are structurally stronger and much more compact than other leading brands. The unique and revolutionary shuttle cylinder design makes for an incredibly compact and powerful spade with the shortest towers in the industry. Dutchman's focus in designing these spades was to produce a blade that was free from any heat when shaping the blade. The result was a "cold-formed' blade that will last five times as long. Other major design features include a solid, circular frame with a massive opening allowing the operator to get around even the widest branched trees. When looking for compact shape and power, Dutchman's curved-blade spades are the answer.
The Dutchman 66-inch Curved Blade Tree Spade is ideal for digging trees with trunks up to 7-inches in diameter. The blades come together at the bottom of the spade to ensure soil retention and cut through any far-reaching roots. The towers are only 82 inches tall, allowing the spade to get in and under low branches and other obstacles.
The Dutchman 70-inch Curved Blade Tree Spade is ideal for digging trees with trunks up to 7 to 8 inches in diameter. The blades come together at the bottom of the spade to ensure soil retention and cut through any far-reaching roots. The towers are only 82 inches tall, allowing the spade to get in and under low branches and other obstacles. A loader with an operating weight of at least 24,000 lbs is recommended.
