Depth control precision seed drill SU 201 series

Incredibly versatile distribution The EBRA SU 201 is a precision seeder for all type of seeds: corn, beet, market gardening, rape seed, soy, beans, cotton... An aluminium disc, driven by the drive-wheel of the seeding unit, selects seeds and distributes them proportionally to the ground- speed of the seeder. This system is simple (only one change of disc to switch from one crop to another), precise (seed by seed to approximately 80% for carrot, gauge 1.6-1.8) and unbelievably versatile: from very small seeds (parsley...) to very large ones (broad beans, large beans and even small bulblets)! Built for difficult conditions Chassis made of thick steel, notched drive-wheels, “saber-type” seeding coulter with large clearance for all types of soils: the SU 201 is even designed for soils that are coarsely prepared. The seed is led by a tube to the seeding coulter, where it is planted in the ground before being packed by the weighted wheel, then covered with earth by the adjustable skimmer. Independent seeding units The seed-distributor plate of each row is driven by the front wheel of the unit. In this way, the seeding units are completely independent of each other: this also allows very easy modification of the number of lines, the spacing between rows, and even allows sowing different crops from one row to another. Each seeding unit can be removed or moved by unscrewing only 2 nuts, which makes the SU 201 particularly scalable.
