Practical and economical
The MS 22 has been designed for towing behind cultivators. Each unit has a single wheel, the front wheel being replaced by the cultivator itself. This makes it a particularly economical solution (it’s the least expensive of the entire range) very suitable to medium-sized areas. So, it fits perfectly between the manual models and the tractor-towed seed-drills.
For reduced spaces
The MS 22 exists in 1 to 5 row format – depending on the size of the cultivator on which it’s mounted, and can be mounted directly on the cultivator or on the simple-beam frame, depending on whether one or more units are required. Its compact size makes it very suitable for reduced spaces : tunnels, glasshouses. And naturally, the MS 22 also has the key features of EBRA seed-drills : versatility, change crops in a few minutes …
Independent seeding units
Each seeding unit is composed of an inclined aluminium distribution plate (see “The Principle” section) which is driven independently by the unit’s wheel. In this way, the units – when multi-unit formats are required - are completely independent from each other. This gives the option of sowing different crops from one row to the next - in one pass.
Easy to use
This is one of the main advantages that EBRA seed-drills are noted for - they’re easy to use :
- change the plate instantly – without needing any tools
- very accurate setting of the density – without needing any tools
- instant emptying drain-shutter
- depth setting via the sliding seed-boot (this model doesn’t have a hinged chassis)
