Beastly good As the name suggests, the latest version of the Prof 6 is a “Monster” in the best sense of the word, now equipped with 25% more power! The classic 14 HP single-cylinder engine gives way to the 18 HP two-cylinder Vanguard engine. This allows landscapers and arborists to process pruning waste even faster. Additionally, this “Monster” edition is available with wheel or track drive, and as a trailer-mounted option. CROSS COUNTRY For worksites where accessibility is more challenging, the Prof 6 Monster is also available with track drive. Here, the speed and direction of rotation of each track can be independently controlled, giving the machine great maneuverability. Anti-Block-MotorTM (ABM) Every Prof 6 can optionally be equipped with the ABMTM system. This system activates when the engine struggles under load, automatically pausing the feed roller for a fraction of a second to temporarily stop the intake of prunings and allow the engine to regain speed. As soon as the engine comes up to speed, the feed resumes. The ABM™ system monitors the shredding process, relieving the operator of this task so they can focus solely on feeding material. Ease of maintenance The ability to quickly and easily maintain a machine is essential to its service life. The design team has prioritized this aspect in the Prof 6. With a swiveling hatch, the shredding chamber and turbine housing can be opened in no time, without the need for tools. This provides maximum access for inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of the blade system. Additionally, the entire feed system can be removed from the machine as a single module.
