Cutting hedges and windbreaks is often a major challenge for both the human body and the hedge trimmer, but Elkær trimmer bars make the task easier than ever. They can be mounted on garden and park machines, compact machines, lightweight tool carriers as well as large tool carriers for maintaining and cutting all types of hedges and windbreaks. Our trimmer bars can handle horizontal, diagonal and vertical cuts and are available in working widths from 130 to 300 cm. They can also handle branch thicknesses up to 90 mm. Trimmer bars work well when combined with Elkær tool frames. Mount the new Elkaer Termit HK1300-3 hedge cutter at a big lawn mower – e.g. a Stiga Park/Titan or Husqvarna TD26. – and get rid of unhealthy working positions. It is often seen that hedge cutting causes challenges both for the physics and the machine, but the Elkaer Termit makes it easy as never before. The HK1300-3 trimmer bar is very flexible and you can cut both on left and right side of the tool carrier if you combine the trimmer bar with our small Termite reach arm. In this combination it easily cuts both vertical, horizontal and tilted lines from the ground level and up to 3,5 meters.
