Cutting hedges and windbreaks is often a major challenge for both the human body and the hedge trimmer, but Elkær trimmer bars make the task easier than ever. They can be mounted on garden and park machines, compact machines, lightweight tool carriers as well as large tool carriers for maintaining and cutting all types of hedges and windbreaks. Our trimmer bars can handle horizontal, diagonal and vertical cuts and are available in working widths from 130 to 300 cm. They can also handle branch thicknesses up to 90 mm. Trimmer bars work well when combined with Elkær tool frames. This is a very robust trimmer bar enabling you to cut branches of up to 90mm in diameter. It is well suited to maintain thick hedges along forest paths or just hedges that have not been cut for a couple of seasons. The Trimmer Bar can be fitted to the front-loader frames HKL Standard, HKL Ex and HKL Fox, and the HKZ, HK Ex and HK Pro-X reach arms. The Trimmer Bar is fitted with a powerful planet-gear, strong connection rod and special hardened blades, which ensures a minimal of maintenance on the HK2000-9 trimmer bar.
