Description

The pruning picker-up shredder COMBY is a trailed agricultural machine which is able to harvest and crumble residues of every kind of pruning. The produced models are 3: COMBY TR 140, COMBY TR 160, COMBY TR 200, with working width respectively of 140, 160 and 200 cm. The machine is composed of: - A frontal harvester with a helicoidal shape, with reverse rotation as regards to the running way, which takes the residues directly from the ground and pull them towards the crumbling element. - A horizontal rotor with oscillating hammers, in charge of the crumbling of pruning residues with a diameter until 90 mm. - A metallic grid (of different measures on request) placed between the chopping element and the back container, which regulates the wanted crumbled material dimensions. - A back container with pantograph raising, which can reach a maximum height of 250 cm, which permits to unload on the ground, in bigger trolleys or in other containers. The constant velocity joint (homocinetic) is equipped with the machine. The machine collects the residues in windrows by the frontal harvester, subsequently they are conveyed towards the chopping axle. The crumbled material is pushed through the grid in the back container, which once loaded, it is emptied out thanks to the pantograph raising. The BIOMASS, once crumbled, could be used for the compost production or for energetic purposes, as combustible in small heating systems or in adequate thermo – electrical power stations. Another advantage is to have the orchard always free from pruning residues, eliminating dangerous contaminations, moulds and ground diseases.
