The new drive concept's efficient power transfer enables fuel-efficient mowing at a reduced speed of 850 rpm and even the use of tractors with lower horsepower. The weight distribution of large mowers is integral to reliable handling that preserves materials. The compact design sees the centre of gravity positioned close to the tractor, and places the low-lying pivot point of the specially shaped lifting arm closer to the ground. As such, this machines in this series ensure a low load on the mower and tractor, as well as good driving stability in all situations. The cutter bars themselves are also hung in the centre of gravity, which saves fuel and minimises impact on the ground. Because the cutter bars can be adjusted to two positions, large working widths can be achieved. It also allows for adaptation to front-mounted mowers and optimum overcut – without having to shorten the drive shaft.
