Description

Automatic selfe-cleaning screen water filters with Radial Swing Suction Scanner technology The Ecoklin filter is a self-cleaning mesh filter designed for pressurized systems. Made with high-quality materials, the filter body is standardly constructed in AISI 304 stainless steel (316L upon request). The filter element is made with a sandwich structure composed of a perforated and expanded sheet metal basket in a rhomboidal shape, in AISI 316 stainless steel, supporting the polyester filter mesh, which is in turn protected by a biplanar mesh. Automation and Control The automation of the Ecoklin filter is managed by a specially designed programmer that constantly monitors the differential pressure between the filter inlet and outlet. This programmer is set to automatically start the cleaning cycle when the Δp exceeds a preset threshold, optimizing the management of wash cycle frequency based on the amount of suspended solids present in the water. Operating Principle The water to be filtered enters the filter through the lower connection (1) and flows inside the filter element (11), passing from the inside out. Impurities are retained by the filter mesh (11), while clean water exits through the side connection (8). The filter also has a drain connection (9) to allow emptying before maintenance operations.
