Description

The OMEGA series is an innovative automatic disc equipment range for large flows, with a remarkable design. Several inner filtering elements can be found in the inside to have a larger filtering surface in a minimum space. Its modularity allows multiple manufacturing options to meet the needs of our clients. Features: Filtering element: Slotted disc cartridge manufactured with polypropylene for an optimum resistance and filtering quality for an extended filter life. Filtering grades from 5 to 200 microns. Equipment: Filtering equipments are supplied with hydraulic counterwash valves, joints, screws, suction pads, a pressure gauge, an automatic cleaning timer, a differential pressure switch and connection collectors. Materials: Filter body and collectors made of carbon steel with a treatment of sandblasting- phosphating, inner/outer electrostatic paint coats in epoxi-polyester, later polymerized in a high-temperature oven. Collectors can be manufactured from HDPE high-density polyethylene. Modularity: Its modular design allows an easy enlargement and adaptation to any kind of spaces. Pressure features: Maximum work pressure: 10 kg/cm2. Equipments with higher pressure requirements can be also supplied to order. Operation/Technology Filtering process: It is carried out through the discs when filtering water; this creates a motion that makes dirt particles flow in continuous movement; That keeps the discs clean for a longer period of time, reduces cleaning process time and also optimizes water volume and energy used.
