Electric-driven, self-cleaning automatic horizontal screen filters are an optimum filtering solution for high flows with a wide range of filtering grades for larger filtering surfaces in a minimum space.
Features:
Filtering element: Cartridge composed of several high-quality stainless steel screen coats forming a single body that allows a high filtering efficiency. Filtering grades from 5000 to 5 microns.
Three-filter chamber: The first one (prefiltration chamber) is placed in the water input. It acts as a strainer filter for largest particles. Later, the water flows to the second chamber (filtering chamber), where the filtering element that defines the filtration grade is set and where the water flows, leaving solids in suspension. The third one (drain chamber) houses the suction system that connects to the hydraulic valve directly to the outside and allows washing water from cleaning process to be expelled.
Suction system: Screen cleaning through exclusive-design special scanner nozzles that vacuum dirt particles, triggered regarding differential pressure and/or time.
The automatic cleaning cycle does not interrupt the filtering process.
Equipment: Filtering equipments are supplied with electric start-up devices (motor), a hydraulic valve, joints, screws, pressure gauges, an electric control board with automatic cleaning timer and a differential pressure switch.
Materials: Filter body made of carbon steel with a treatment of sandblasting- phosphating, inner/outer electrostatic paint coats in epoxi-polyester, later polymerized in a high-temperature oven. The equipment can be manufactured from stainless steel and with special treatment for saline water purposes.
