The Silage Eater has been specifically developed for ensiling large quantities of grass and maize. Because of the large capacity and the fold-out doors a lot of time is saved at the silage pit, which means that enough time remains to weigh the product down well. The very robust design of the machine guarantees years of trouble free operation. The machine has a dismountable blade so the Silage Eater can be used for harvesting grass as well as maize. For this purpose solid Hardox 100 x 50 mm tines with a length of 500 mm have been welded to the machine. Because of the open construction you have a very good view of the silage pit.
