The OrionLED 14W with its output of 1400Lumen is in principle designed as a replacement for 100W incandescent lamps which makes an 85% energy saving possible! The OrionLED 14W lamp is integrated into a complete Light Unit with VLU fixture & special cover ring & special Sealing Ring so it can be used under the harsh conditions of poultry and pig houses. The design is based on meeting IP54 Water tightness criteria so one can wash it with water, even spray it with water although one shouldn’t clean the unit with a high pressure water washer. This light unit comes without a cover over the lamp. With this OrionLED 14W lamp comes a OrionLED Light Intensity Controller unit that can handle up to 200 OrionLED 14W lamps from 2% to 100%. In principle it is possible to install the Gasolec OrionLED 14W Lamps in existing Gasolec VLU (Vertical Light Units) systems by installing a new dimmer & new lamps & extra cover rings & extra sealing rings.
